The Supervisory Board
The Supervisory Board of the National Anti-Doping Center (hereinafter referred to as the Supervisory Board) is an advisory body operating within the powers defined by the Law of Ukraine "On Anti-Doping Activities in Sport" and oversees the activities of the National Anti-Doping Center (hereinafter referred to as the Center) with the aim of improving its performance.
In its activities, the Supervisory Board is guided by the Constitution of Ukraine, the Laws of Ukraine "On Anti-Doping Activities in Sport," "On Physical Culture and Sports," the International Convention against Doping in Sport ratified by the Law of Ukraine of August 3, 2006, No. 68-V, the Anti-Doping Convention ratified by the Law of Ukraine of March 15, 2001, No. 2295-III, and the Regulation on the Supervisory Board of the National Anti-Doping Center approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 23, 2022, No. 1437.
The composition of the Supervisory Board was approved by the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated June 6, 2023, No. 500-p, according to which the following individuals were included in the composition of the Supervisory Board:
- Andriy Chesnokov - Chairman of the Supervisory Board, delegated by the central executive body responsible for forming and implementing state policy in the field of physical culture and sports.
- Heorhiy Mazurashu - Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Member of the Parliament of Ukraine, delegated by the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine responsible for issues of physical culture and sports.
- Larysa Zaspa - Secretary of the Supervisory Board, nominated by the Athletes' Commission of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.
- Oleksandr Artemiev - Member of the Supervisory Board, delegated by the Sports Committee of Ukraine.
- Ihor Bury - Member of the Supervisory Board, delegated by the Ukrainian Center for Physical Culture and Sports of Persons with Disabilities "InvAsport."
- Mykola Hryntsov - Member of the Supervisory Board, delegated by the central executive body responsible for shaping state policy in the field of ensuring the protection of human rights and freedoms, the interests of society and the state, combating crime, maintaining public safety and order, and providing police services.
- Ihor Kuzin - Member of the Supervisory Board, delegated by the central executive body responsible for shaping and implementing state policy in the field of healthcare.
- Nina Umanets - Member of the Supervisory Board, delegated by the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.
- Volodymyr Chernyshenko - Member of the Supervisory Board, delegated by the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
