Anti-Doping Preparation for Dakar 2026 YOG: NADC Holds Second Educational Session
On 13 August, the National Anti-Doping Center (NADC) held the second anti-doping education session as part of the programme preparing the Ukrainian sports delegation for the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games.
The session continued the NADC educational series launched in June and focused on strengthening the knowledge of young athletes, coaches, and delegation members regarding anti-doping rules and their practical application.
During the session, participants discussed key requirements of the anti-doping system, athletes’ personal responsibility, doping control procedures, the use of medicines and dietary supplements, as well as ways to prevent unintentional anti-doping rule violations.
Particular attention was paid to practical situations that athletes may encounter while preparing for and participating in international competitions. Participants had the opportunity to ask NADC specialists questions and receive practical recommendations on how to act correctly in specific situations.
The NADC anti-doping programme for Dakar 2026 YOG includes a series of educational sessions designed to help young athletes and their support personnel better understand their rights and responsibilities and make informed choices in support of clean sport.
