The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the new composition of the Supervisory Board of the National Anti-Doping Center (NADC).

The decision was adopted following the expiration of the three-year term of office of the previous Supervisory Board, as defined by the Regulation on the Supervisory Board of the National Anti-Doping Center.

The Supervisory Board is an important element of NADC’s institutional governance system and oversees the activities of the Center. The renewal of its composition will ensure continuity in the Board’s work and the proper exercise of its responsibilities in accordance with legislation in the field of anti-doping in sport.

The renewed Supervisory Board includes representatives of:

• the Sports Committee of Ukraine;
• the Ukrainian Center for Physical Culture and Sport for Persons with Disabilities “Invasport”;
• the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine;
• the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine;
• the Ministry of Health of Ukraine;
• the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Youth and Sport;
• the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine;
• the O. O. Bogomolets Institute of Physiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;
• the Athletes’ Commission of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.

The representation of various government authorities, sports organizations, the scientific community and athletes provides a broad range of expertise for carrying out the Supervisory Board’s functions.

Ukraine continues its consistent efforts to strengthen the national anti-doping system and ensure its alignment with international standards.

The renewal of the Supervisory Board’s composition is another step in this direction and will contribute to the proper exercise of oversight functions, strengthening the institutional capacity of the National Anti-Doping Center and further developing an effective anti-doping system in sport.
