Clean. Honest. To the point: The guide athletes have been waiting for
The NADC is preparing a true must-have for everyone who chooses fair play — an informative and educational guide for athletes.
On June 3, during a meeting of the NADC Athletes' Committee, we discussed the concept of this new resource. The goal is simple yet ambitious — to make anti-doping knowledge accessible, clear, and relevant.
The guide will cover everything an athlete needs to know:
- What clean sport is and how to uphold it
- Your rights and responsibilities as an athlete
- Which substances and methods are prohibited
- What to expect during doping control
- How to safely use supplements and medications
- How to protect yourself and your rights
The Athletes’ Committee is involved as an expert group — bringing real-life experience, practical insights, and a focus on the needs of both young and elite athletes.
“This guide is a compass through the complex anti-doping system. We want every athlete to feel confident and informed,” said NADC Director Sergii Popyk.
“When you're armed with knowledge, there's less room for mistakes and more space for confidence,” added Olympic champion and chairman of the Athletes' Council Yurii Cheban.
The guide will be released in a digital format with interactive features — convenient, modern, and mobile-friendly.
This isn’t just about rules. It’s about choice. About the power of knowledge. And about winning clean. Coming soon. And it’s going to be great.
Together — for clean sport.
