NADC Joins the 63rd Meeting of the Monitoring Group of the Council of Europe Anti-Doping Convention

04 September 2026

On 3–4 September 2026, the 63rd meeting of the Monitoring Group of the Council of Europe Anti-Doping Convention (T-DO) was held in Strasbourg, France. Valerii Zlomynoha, Head of the National Anti-Doping Center (NADC), took part in the meeting.

During the meeting, participants discussed current issues related to the development and implementation of international anti-doping policy, including the implementation of the 2027 World Anti-Doping Programme and approaches to its implementation by States Parties to the Anti-Doping Convention. Particular attention was paid to the assessment of national anti-doping policies and the further monitoring of their implementation.

The participants also addressed international cooperation, the development of anti-doping standards, preparations for an international conference on limiting the availability of doping substances on the European market, as well as the further implementation of the T-DO Strategy and Operational Programme 2024–2027.

Another item on the agenda was an update on the work of the T-DO Advisory Groups, including the Advisory Group on Education, Legal Issues and Science. This is an important area for developing modern approaches to anti-doping education and ensuring the effective functioning of the anti-doping system.

The participation of Ukrainian representatives in the work of the Monitoring Group contributes to the exchange of experience, strengthening international cooperation, and ensuring that Ukrainian experience is taken into account in the development of European approaches to clean sport.

Together — for an effective anti-doping system and clean sport.
