NADC Participates in the 9th Meeting of the CEECG+ Coordination Group

27 August 2026

On 27 August, Valerii Zlomynoha, Head of the National Anti-Doping Center (NADC), took part in the 9th virtual meeting of the Central and Eastern European Coordination Group Plus (CEECG+).

The meeting brought together representatives of national anti-doping organizations from Central and Eastern Europe to discuss current issues related to the development and functioning of the global anti-doping system.

During the meeting, participants discussed key issues on the agendas of WADA and CAHAMA, including amendments to international standards, the operational independence of NADOs, WADA’s proposed policy on measures to support investigations, as well as states’ financial contributions to the WADA budget.

Particular attention was paid to the recommendation of the WADA Working Group on NADO Operational Independence (WGOI) concerning the role of national anti-doping organizations during major international sporting events. The proposed changes provide for a clearer division of responsibilities among competition organizers, international federations, and local NADOs.

NADC’s participation in the work of CEECG+ is an important component of the Center’s international cooperation and enables Ukraine to contribute to the development of common approaches to advancing the anti-doping system in the region.

One anti-doping community — stronger protection for clean sport.
