NADC Staff Training Is a Key Component of Professional Development in Anti-Doping Work

02 May 2024

On May 1st, an internal training session was held for National Anti-Doping Center employees. The session was dedicated to the topic of national and international anti-doping legislation. The educational session was delivered by the Deputy Director of NADC, Yevheniy Konovalenko, who provided insights into key regulatory documents, their content and specifics, as well as the defining role of anti-doping legislation in ensuring fair and ethical anti-doping and sports activities.

During the training, the main provisions of the World Anti-Doping Code and relevant WADA International Standards, Council Of Europe Anti-Doping Convention, International Convention Against Doping In Sport as well as the content and requirements of the Law of Ukraine "On Anti-Doping Activities in Sports", were extensively discussed. Particular attention was given to the policies developed and implemented by NADC. These documents are crucial for conducting practical anti-doping work.

Such training sessions are an important component of our work, as they help improve our professional knowledge and skills necessary both for combating doping and for preventing the use of prohibited substances in sports.

We are grateful to all participants for their active involvement in the training event, readiness to improve their qualifications and skills, as we are convinced that the success of anti-doping work depends on the professionalism of NADC staff.

Competing fairly, working professionally!
