On 28–29 July 2026, at the invitation of the National Anti-Doping Agency of the Republic of Moldova (ANAD Moldova), Yevgenii Konovalenko, Deputy Director of the National Anti-Doping center (NADC), is participating in Workshop on anti-doping cooperation held in Chișinău.

The purpose of these events is to further strengthen cooperation between the anti-doping organizations of Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, exchange practical experience in aligning national anti-doping legislation and Anti-Doping Rules with the requirements of the 2027 World Anti-Doping Code and the related International Standards, as well as discuss current operational matters and identify priorities for future bilateral cooperation.

As part of the programme, the NADC representative also participated in the inaugural meeting of the Council for the Prevention and Combating of Illicit Trafficking in Doping Substances of the Republic of Moldova. During the meeting, participants discussed the Council's legal and regulatory framework, current trends in the illicit trafficking of doping substances, existing risks and vulnerabilities, mechanisms for interinstitutional cooperation, and the Council's priority areas of work for 2026.

This issue is also highly relevant for Ukraine. The National Anti-Doping Center is studying international experience in preventing and combating the illicit trafficking of doping substances with a view to preparing proposals for improving Ukrainian legislation and establishing an effective interinstitutional cooperation mechanism in this area.

NADC expresses its sincere appreciation to the National Anti-Doping Agency of the Republic of Moldova for the invitation and the opportunity to participate in this valuable exchange of experience. The continued development of Ukraine–Moldova cooperation will contribute to the implementation of modern approaches to protecting clean sport and further strengthening international partnership in the fight against doping.
