Strengthening Cooperation between Ukrainian and Polish Anti-Doping Organizations
On November 13, a Cooperation Agreement was signed in Warsaw between the National Anti-Doping Center (NADC) of Ukraine and the Polish Anti-Doping Agency (POLADA). 
The document aims to strengthen collaboration between the two anti-doping organizations in key areas such as anti-doping education, testing, training for doping sample collection staff, and investigating anti-doping rule violations.
“We greatly value our cooperation with our Polish partners at POLADA. We are especially grateful for the institutional support we’ve received since 2022. Our goal is to develop and deepen this partnership, as well as organize joint initiatives aimed at promoting clean sport and combating doping and anti-doping rule violations in both our countries,” emphasized NADC Director Serhiy Popyk after the signing.
NADC and POLADA agreed to implement several joint informational and educational projects with the support of WADA and EU institutional projects, aiming to enhance work with athletes, increase their awareness, and strengthen their protection, particularly within the framework of the anti-doping ombudsman’s activities.
“We aren’t starting from scratch; we’re simply continuing our practical cooperation with our Ukrainian colleagues. We are grateful to NADC for their readiness to work together, their professional approach to combating doping in sports, and their ideas to promote clean sport,” stated Michał Rynkowski, Director of POLADA.
The signing ceremony was attended by Ukraine’s Minister of Youth and Sports Matviy Bidny, Head of the Department of International Cooperation and European Integration of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Natalia Radchuk, and representatives from WADA.
“I fully support the cooperation between NADC and POLADA. We are pleased with the content and implementation of Ukraine’s national anti-doping program. We received positive feedback on this from the WADA President today. The agreement opens up new opportunities and tools, which we will support and further develop,” stated Matviy Bidny.
