Supervisory Board Meeting of NADC: Continuing the Course to Strengthen the Clean Sport System
On June 3, a regular meeting of the Supervisory Board of the National Anti-Doping Centre was held in the conference hall of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine. The participants reviewed reports on the Centre’s key areas of activity during the first half of the year, discussed current challenges, and outlined the tasks for the remainder of 2025.
NADC Director Sergii Popyk informed the members of the Supervisory Board about the Centre’s operational results in 2025, including the implementation of educational initiatives, development of the internal quality system, improvement of testing procedures, and the expansion of international cooperation.
“We approach each step with a strategic mindset — from planning to daily operations. The first six months of 2025 were marked by intensive yet productive work. We are not only maintaining our pace but laying a solid foundation for further growth and professionalisation of Ukraine’s anti-doping system,” emphasized NADC Director Sergii Popyk.
Special attention was given to cooperation with national sports federations. An analysis was presented on the implementation of anti-doping programmes by sports organisations, with an emphasis on the need to further strengthen their efforts.
Updates were also shared regarding the Centre’s management system development — including the revision of internal regulatory documents, digitalisation of key processes, and the introduction of modern quality control mechanisms.
“The anti-doping system in Ukraine must not only remain stable, but also be dynamic and adaptable. It is important that the NADC team continues to move forward confidently, demonstrating institutional maturity. This deserves support and high recognition,” noted the Chair of the Supervisory Board, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Andriy Chesnokov.
The meeting concluded with the discussion of current issues and the identification of key priorities for the near future.
We work diligently – we compete fairly!
