Training on personal data protection was held at the NADC
On October 7, the National Anti-Doping Center held an internal training session for its employees on Personal Data in the NADC. The training event was conducted by Deputy Director Valerii Zlomynoha, who presented the requirements and basic approaches of the NADC to the work with personal data.
During the training, the employees got acquainted with the main regulatory documents governing the processing of personal data, namely the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”, the World Anti-Doping Code, the International Standard for the Protection of Privacy and Personal Data of WADA, as well as the procedures to be followed to protect them. Key attention was also paid to the rights of data subjects, the responsibilities of the organization and the steps to be taken to ensure the confidentiality of information.
The training program included practical advice on how to ensure the security of personal data in the anti-doping process, as well as a discussion of practical cases and situations that employees may encounter in their work.
Internal training is an important step in raising the knowledge and awareness of the NADC employees necessary to ensure an adequate level of personal data protection and maintain privacy standards in our activities.
