The NADC Trains New Doping Control Officers
Special emphasis was placed on practical issues and challenges commonly encountered by doping control officers, such as notifying and identifying athletes, handling partial samples, low sample density, and specific actions during air raid alerts or curfews.
The training included practical exercises and simulated scenarios to address complex real-life and hypothetical cases in doping sample collection.
Participants, working in groups, benefited from the expertise of NADC’s most experienced and accredited doping control officers.
The training concluded with NADC-administered testing, which confirmed a high level of knowledge and skills among participants, necessary for the professional development of future doping control officers.
“The doping control officer is a key NADC representative, interacting with athletes and coaches at doping control points. We prioritize their high level of professionalism, integrity, and understanding of both training and competitive sports processes. These aspects formed the foundation of our training program at Koncha-Zaspa,” noted NADC Director Serhiy Popyk, congratulating the participants on completing the training.
We wish all successful graduates strength, inspiration, and dedication as they proceed through final pre-accreditation preparations to become doping control officers committed to eradicating doping in sports.
Learning continuously, working professionally!
