On November 3, the National Anti-Doping Center held an internal training session for staff, organized by the Sample Collection Planning Unit. The focus of the event was on working with the ADAMS system (Anti-Doping Administration and Management System) — its functionalities, purpose, and key objectives.

During the training, participants familiarized themselves with the main principles of ADAMS — a global online platform administered by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). The system ensures efficient information exchange between national anti-doping organizations, laboratories, sports federations, and WADA itself, promoting transparency and consistency in anti-doping processes worldwide.

Special attention was given to issues such as the security of athletes’ personal data, managing whereabouts information, processing test results, and ADAMS’s role in supporting clean sport.

Such training events are an important component of the systematic development of NADC staff and contribute to increasing efficiency in planning and implementing anti-doping programs in Ukraine.

Sergii Popyk, Director of the National Anti-Doping Center, emphasized: “Continuous professional development of our specialists is the key to effective implementation of anti-doping policy in Ukraine. The ADAMS system is a crucial tool in the global fight against doping, and it is important that all our staff understand its strategic role in ensuring sports integrity.”
