A Step Towards Fair Play: NADC Conducted an Anti-Doping Education Session for WFC Polissya
On July 8, specialists from the National Anti-Doping Center conducted an anti-doping education session for the players, coaching staff, and personnel of WFC Polissya (Zhytomyr).
During the session, participants learned about the fundamental anti-doping rules, doping control procedures, and athletes’ rights and responsibilities. They also discussed the risks associated with the use of medications and dietary supplements. Particular attention was paid to preventing unintentional anti-doping rule violations and to the use of official tools for checking the status of medications.
Head of the Anti-Doping Education and Communications Department at NADC, Mariia Daineko, commented:
“Anti-doping education is not only about knowing the rules. It is about responsibility, informed decision-making, and giving athletes the confidence to make the right choices. The better athletes and their support personnel understand anti-doping requirements, the lower the risk of making a mistake that could jeopardize a sporting career.”
The National Anti-Doping Center continues to implement educational activities for athletes, coaches, and the wider sports community, promoting the values of fair play and fostering a culture of clean sport.
Clean sport is a shared responsibility.
