Clean Path to the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games: the NADC has launched the implementation of anti-doping programme

30 June 2026

The National Anti-Doping Center has launched the implementation of an anti-doping programme aimed at preparing athletes, coaches, and athlete support personnel for participation in the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games.

The first event within the programme was an educational webinar dedicated to key anti-doping requirements and rules that will apply during the preparation period and at the Youth Olympic Games. Participants received up-to-date information on the principle of strict liability, doping control procedures, the use of medications and dietary supplements, as well as the process for applying for Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs).

Special attention was given to practical aspects of compliance with anti-doping rules and the prevention of unintentional violations in sport.

The anti-doping programme for Dakar 2026 includes a series of educational activities aimed at increasing awareness and fostering a culture of clean sport among young athletes and their support personnel.

Knowledge, responsibility, clean sport — your path to Dakar 2026.
