Compete Fair: WADA Discusses Updated Strategy in the Fight for Clean Sport
On March 18, the annual World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Symposium kicked off, bringing together key figures in the global anti-doping community. Participants include WADA President Witold Bańka, directors of WADA’s structural divisions, heads of national and regional anti-doping organizations and laboratories, representatives of international sports federations, the Olympic and sports movements, as well as experts from the UN, the Council of Europe, UNESCO, Interpol, and service providers.
"We are not just attending this forum—we are presenting WADA and our international partners with concrete anti-doping efforts and targeted initiatives for clean sport that we have carried out in Ukraine in recent years. We have achieved outstanding and visible results, and the NADC Anti-Doping Program fully complies with the World Anti-Doping Code and international anti-doping standards. Everything we have accomplished, despite the challenging wartime circumstances, has not only been supported but also positively evaluated by our international partners," said NADC Director Serhii Popyk, who is participating in the WADA Symposium.
The symposium features thematic sessions, roundtable discussions, and dedicated meetings aimed at strengthening cooperation in anti-doping efforts at both global and national levels.
Working together, winning fairly!
