On 2–3 September, the 72nd meeting of the Ad Hoc European Committee for the World Anti-Doping Agency (CAHAMA) of the Council of Europe took place. Valerii Zlomynoha, Head of the National Anti-Doping Center, participated in the meeting remotely.

One of the key items on the agenda was preparation for the meeting of the WADA Executive Committee, which will take place on 10–11 September in Belgrade. Representatives of European states discussed the items to be considered by the Executive Committee and worked on developing a coordinated CAHAMA mandate to represent a common European position.

The meeting also included an exchange of views with WADA representatives, consideration of current issues related to cooperation between CAHAMA and WADA, as well as certain aspects of procedural fairness, transparency and good governance within the international anti-doping system.

NADC’s participation in the work of CAHAMA contributes to representing Ukraine’s position within European anti-doping cooperation and ensures its involvement in discussions on issues that influence the further development of the international anti-doping system.
