NADC and the Biathlon Federation of Ukraine Begin Collaboration
On September 23, as part of the Summer Championship of Ukraine in biathlon, a Memorandum of Cooperation in the anti-doping field was signed between NADC and the Biathlon Federation of Ukraine. The document outlines collaboration in key areas of anti-doping activities, primarily the initiation of a joint anti-doping program in preparation for the upcoming Winter Olympics. This collaboration will involve joint educational initiatives, information exchange regarding training camps, and the establishment of an anti-doping officer position within the Federation.
“The signing of the Memorandum with the National Biathlon Federation is an important step in NADC's organizational efforts ahead of the winter sports season and the start of anti-doping preparations for the 2026 Winter Olympics. We are committed to providing Ukrainian biathletes with all necessary support for effective anti-doping preparation for the Games in Turin,” stated NADC Director S. Popyk following the signing.
The NADC Director also held a separate meeting with Ivan Krulko, President of the Biathlon Federation of Ukraine, to discuss practical measures for implementing the signed Memorandum, agreeing to enhance cooperation on anti-doping education and promoting clean sports among biathletes.
“We believe that effective collaboration between NADC and FBU will contribute to high sporting achievements for Ukrainian biathletes both at national championships and international competitions,” emphasized S. Popyk.
Let’s work and win together!
