On May 15, the Director of the National Anti-Doping Center, Serhii Popyk, and Head of the Results Management Department, Kateryna Koval, participated in the 5th International Scientific and Practical Online Conference "Health, Physical Education, and Sport: Perspectives and Best Practices," organized by Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University with support from international partners.

In his welcoming address, Serhii Popyk emphasized the importance of fostering a culture of integrity in sport in Ukraine, highlighting the key role of education in the prevention of doping violations:

“For NADC, cooperation with the academic community is not just a scientific interest — it is a strategic choice. We believe that future coaches, doctors, and sports managers must understand the value of clean sport from the very beginning of their careers. That is why we actively develop partnerships with universities.”

Particular attention was drawn to Kateryna Koval’s presentation titled "Anti-Doping Education as a Key Tool to Promote Health and Integrity in Sport." She underscored the critical role of anti-doping education in building a culture of clean sport and called on educational institutions to unite in strengthening and advancing this discipline.

The conference brought together researchers from Ukraine, Norway, the USA, Portugal, Romania, and South Africa, as well as representatives from sports organizations, medical institutions, and academic communities. Discussions focused on modern challenges in sport, rehabilitation, digital technologies in physical education, and the promotion of integrity and responsibility in the training of athletes.

NADC’s participation in events of this level reflects the Center’s ongoing strategy: to engage in academic and educational forums to enhance anti-doping efforts and promote the values of clean sport.
