Values of Clean Sport in Action: 95 National Sports Federations Have Approved Anti-Doping Programs with NADC
Ukrainian national sports federations are actively implementing the principles of clean sport in their activities. As of early March, 95 anti-doping programs have already been submitted to and approved by the National Anti-Doping Center (NADC).
This demonstrates a systematic approach to developing a fair and responsible sporting environment and the growing accountability of federations in preventing doping. The development and implementation of their own programs is not only an organizational step but also an important signal of mature sports governance and a commitment to the spirit of clean sport and the anti-doping standards of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
The federations’ engagement shows that the values of fair competition, respect for the rules, and responsibility are becoming the foundation for the development of Ukrainian sport.
"The National Anti-Doping Center continues to cooperate with federations, providing expert and methodological support to further strengthen the culture of clean sport. We consider the preparation and approval of an anti-doping program to be only part of any national federation’s work on preventing doping in their respective sport. Their key task remains the successful and complete implementation of the measures they have declared. We are pleased that the Ministry of Youth and Sports will soon establish an effective mechanism to monitor the implementation of anti-doping programs, ensuring the full engagement of sports federations in the systematic fight against doping successfully led by our country," said Sergiy Popyk, Director of the NADC.
Together, we are building a system in which victory is based on talent, hard work, and integrity.
