Anti-Doping Education in Action: NADC Held a Session for the National Women’s Freestyle Wrestling Team
On November 5, the National Anti-Doping Center conducted an educational anti-doping session for athletes of the Ukrainian national women’s freestyle wrestling team and their coaches.
The event took place at the Olympic Training and Sports Center “Koncha-Zaspa” and marked another step in the NADC’s ongoing program aimed at improving anti-doping literacy among national team athletes.
During the session, NADC experts explained the key provisions of the World Anti-Doping Code, the principles of athlete and coach responsibility, the doping control procedure, and the process of obtaining a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE).
Special attention was given to the risks associated with dietary supplements and the importance of checking medications before use.
Such educational initiatives help build a culture of fair play, raise awareness among athletes, and protect their right to a clean victory.
Fair fight — fair victory.
