“Clean sports start with people who consciously stand up for fair play”: The National Anti-Doping Center Held a Training Session for Doping Control Officers
On June 13, 2026, the National Anti-Doping Center held a training session for Doping Control Officers. The event was attended by candidates who already possess a high level of knowledge in the field of anti-doping and are interested in developing a system to protect clean sport in Ukraine.
The training program covered the current requirements of WADA’s international standards, the specifics of organizing and conducting doping control, as well as the practical aspects of the work of Doping Control Officers. Participants examined both typical and unusual situations that arise during testing, issues related to interaction with athletes, and compliance with procedural requirements.
Particular attention was paid to practical tasks, as well as ensuring high standards of professional conduct. The training took place in the format of interactive discussions and practical exercises, which allowed participants not only to deepen their knowledge but also to gain practical experience.
The work of the National Anti-Doping Center is increasingly attracting attention and generating interest in the field of anti-doping. The candidates who participated in the training demonstrated a high level of awareness in the anti-doping field, active engagement, and sincere motivation to contribute to the strengthening of clean sport in Ukraine.
