Coaches as the Key to Clean Sport: NADC Hosts Anti-Doping Webinar
The National Anti-Doping Center hosted an online webinar for coaches who work closely with athletes every day and directly influence their decisions, values, and behavior in sport.
The event brought together coaches from various sports around an important topic — how to prevent anti-doping rule violations and foster a culture of fair play within teams.
During the webinar, participants not only refreshed their knowledge of anti-doping rules but also discussed real-life scenarios from sports practice:
what to do if an athlete has doubts about a medication,
how to minimize risks related to dietary supplements,
and how to communicate effectively to prevent mistakes.
Special attention was given to the role of the coach as a mentor — someone who can identify risks early, explain consequences, and support athletes in making choices in favor of clean sport.
The webinar was held in an interactive format, encouraging open discussion and questions, which once again confirmed that anti-doping remains a highly relevant topic and that there is strong demand for practical knowledge.
The NADC continues to implement educational initiatives aimed at raising awareness within the sports community and promoting a culture of clean sport in Ukraine.
Clean sport is a daily choice — and coaches play a decisive role in that choice.
