Doctors Join the Game: NADC and Dobrobut Launch Anti-Doping Alliance
On June 4, the National Anti-Doping Center and the Dobrobut Medical Network signed a memorandum of cooperation — a new step toward safe and responsible sport.
The document outlines joint efforts in providing medical support to athletes in line with anti-doping regulations. It focuses on raising doctors' awareness of Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUE), assisting in proper medical documentation, and integrating anti-doping standards into daily medical practice.
NADC Director Sergii Popyk commented: “This is a breakthrough. We’re not just partnering with a clinic — we’re shaping a new reality where doctors and sport stand together for clean play.”
Serhii Orel, CEO of the Dobrobut Medical Network, added: “We’re joining a truly meaningful cause. We take responsibility — not just for treatment, but for supporting athletes on their journey to victory.”
The memorandum also includes training for medical staff, advisory support from NADC, a registry of doctors familiar with athlete-specific care, and information exchange within the limits of current legislation.
This collaboration is a vivid example of how the healthcare system and sports can work hand-in-hand to achieve a common goal: athlete health and fair competition.
We play fair. We treat right. We win with dignity.
