On July 8, the National Anti-Doping Center and the Ukrainian Mountaineering and Climbing Federation signed an agreement on cooperation in the anti-doping sphere. Now, athletes who conquer the highest peaks, together with NADC, will stand guard over fair sport — without doping and unfair advantages.

"We want our athletes to shine on the world stage thanks to their hard work, not cheating. This agreement is our joint step towards clean sport, where true heroes win!" - noted Sergii Popyk, director of the NADC.

“Our climbers and rock climbers are people who conquer peaks through strength of spirit and training. We are happy to join forces with NADC to show the whole world that Ukraine plays fair!” - added Hanna Yasinska, President of the Ukrainian Mountaineering and Climbing Federation.

The agreement provides for many joint activities: educational events for athletes, anti-doping programs, control at competitions and training camps. This means that every rock climber or mountaineer will know that the main thing is not only training, but also respect for the rules.
