NADC Initiates Cooperation with the National Academy of Internal Affairs: A New Stage in the Fight For Fair Play
On April 30, a Memorandum on cooperation in the anti-doping field between the National Anti-Doping Center and the National Academy of Internal Affairs was signed.
The Memorandum envisages a wide range of initiatives and measures aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of anti-doping policies and educational activities, practical cooperation, and consultative support in investigating cases of anti-doping rule violations.
The joint work of NADC and the National Academy of Internal Affairs will also encompass collaboration aimed at limiting the availability and distribution of doping and substances prohibited in sports. Also joint educational and scientific events aimed to raise awareness of doping issues will be conducted.
"We are grateful to the National Academy of Internal Affairs for their willingness to join the implementation of the national anti-doping program – a new direction for Ukrainian law enforcement. This is an important event that will have a significant impact on the practical work of both NADC and the law enforcement system of Ukraine in combating doping, primarily in the production and distribution of substances prohibited in sports. In fact, today's signing of the memorandum marks the beginning of a new stage of cooperation in the fight against doping and the protection of fair play in Ukraine," said NADC Director Sergii Popyk at the event.
The cooperation between NADC and the National Academy of Internal Affairs will not only focus on combating doping in sports but also on raising legal awareness and legal culture among athletes, coaches, medical professionals, sports managers, and all those involved or interested in sports. It opens new opportunities for a coordinated and comprehensive approach to the doping problem in sports, as well as for the implementation of best practices and innovations in this field.
Together, we can achieve more! Together, we can defeat doping!
