On October 11, 2025, the Sports Law Forum was held in Kyiv, organized by the Chernihiv and Kyiv branches of the League of Students of the Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA). The event was the result of cooperation between regional branches of the League and brought together lawyers, athletes, students, and everyone interested in the legal aspects of sports.

Among the speakers were representatives of the National Anti-Doping Center of Ukraine:

• Yevhen Konovalenko, lawyer, Deputy Director of NADC;
• Kateryna Koval, lawyer, Head of the Results Management Department of NADC.

The topic of their presentation was “Anti-Doping Disputes: Legal and Practical Dimensions.”

During the lecture, NADC experts discussed:

• the main principles of anti-doping legislation;
• the rights and responsibilities of athletes;
• the procedure for handling anti-doping cases in Ukraine;
• real-life cases and practical insights from NADC’s experience.

The event provided an excellent opportunity for participants to learn more about the functioning mechanisms of the anti-doping system, the specifics of law enforcement in sports, and the role of lawyers in upholding the principles of fair play.
