When Sport Meets Law: NADC at the First Sports Law Forum
On September 18, the First Sports Law Forum was held, organized by the Ukrainian Bar Association and the Ukrainian Association of Football. The organizers invited the National Anti-Doping Center to take part in the Forum’s work.
Greeting the participants, NADC Director Sergii Popyk emphasized the importance of anti-doping issues in the legal framework of sports life in Ukraine.
"Anti-doping today is an integral part of the national sports system, and effective legal regulation in this area is a critical necessity. Ukraine has already built the entire infrastructure needed to address cases and disputes related to anti-doping rule violations," noted Mr. Popyk.
The National Anti-Doping Center is interested in establishing professional cooperation with sports law experts, and therefore participation in the Forum was an excellent and timely opportunity for sharing experiences, engaging in professional discussions, and developing networking between specialists in the sports and legal fields.
