NADC Successfully Completes Anti-Doping Program Ahead of the 2026 Olympic Games
The National Anti-Doping Center (NADC) has successfully completed the implementation of a specialized anti-doping program developed as part of the preparations for the 2026 Olympic Games. The program aimed to raise awareness among athletes, coaches, and sports officials regarding anti-doping regulations and to strengthen the culture of clean sport.
As part of the program, a comprehensive set of measures was carried out, including:
-
the collection of 148 doping samples;
-
140 athletes and coaches participating in educational sessions covering key anti-doping issues, testing procedures, and the principle of strict liability.
During the implementation of the program, three positive doping samples were identified among athletes nominated as candidates for participation in the Olympic Games.
“The program made it possible to combine athlete education with testing and to provide a clear understanding of anti-doping rules. This helps prevent unintentional violations and prepares athletes for fair participation in the Olympic Games,” said the Director of the National Anti-Doping Center.
The completion of the program marked an important milestone in NADC’s efforts to strengthen the principles of clean sport within the Ukrainian Olympic team.
