Strength in Integrity: NADC Held an Anti-Doping Webinar for the National Powerlifting Team of Athletes with Visual Impairments
On July 11, the National Anti-Doping Center held a specialized educational webinar for the national powerlifting team of Ukraine composed of athletes with visual impairments.
The event was part of the team’s preparation for the 2025 World Powerlifting and Bench Press Championship for Athletes with Visual Impairments, which will take place in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The webinar focused on key topics including the World Anti-Doping Code, doping control procedures, the process of applying for Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs), and safe use of medications and dietary supplements.
NADC experts provided practical guidance, shared tips on how athletes can protect their rights, and emphasized the importance of timely communication with medical and coaching staff.
Participants actively engaged in the discussion, asked questions, and received real-time feedback. This type of dialogue is not only about informing — it's about building trust and providing support.
NADC will continue to implement inclusive educational formats, ensuring equal access to anti-doping knowledge for all athletes representing Ukraine on the international stage.
To be strong is to compete clean.
