Clean Sport – A Global Value: How the International Convention Against Doping in Sport Works
On October 20, the 10th Session of the Conference of Parties to the UNESCO International Convention Against Doping in Sport began its work in Paris.
The meeting focuses on key and priority issues of implementing the Convention in practice, as well as discussing the best international approaches in the fight against doping in sport.
A total of 192 countries have joined the UNESCO Anti-Doping Convention, which marks its 20th anniversary this year!
Ministers, government representatives of member states, UNESCO and Council of Europe officials, WADA leaders, and national anti-doping organizations — more than 700 participants in total — are taking part in the sessions and discussions of this anniversary conference.
Ukraine is effectively and fully implementing the Convention, developing a national anti-doping system in line with its provisions and spirit.
The Ukrainian delegation participating in the session will highlight the role of the state and its institutions in promoting fair play, share anti-doping measures and initiatives, and emphasize the values of clean sport.
Working together — winning clean!
