Doping-Free Karate: The NADC and the Ukrainian Karate Federation plan to join forces for fair play
On November 7, the National Anti-Doping Center (NADC) hosted a meeting with Ivan Dutchak, President of the Ukrainian Karate Federation.
"The NADC's goal is not only to combat doping in sports but also to promote fair play and clean sports. We are pleased that the Ukrainian Karate Federation shares our values and is ready to work with us. The federation has established strong anti-doping practices, so our main focus will be on joint activities aimed at deepening Ukrainian karate athletes' understanding and awareness of the anti-doping rules they need to follow," stated NADC Director Serhiy Popyk.
During the meeting, the parties agreed to sign a cooperation agreement defining the format and scope of collaboration between the NADC and the Ukrainian Karate Federation. This will streamline practical interaction on anti-doping issues.
"We are prepared to collaborate with the NADC to provide our athletes and coaches with professional knowledge about anti-doping regulations. We look forward to support for our educational efforts aimed at preventing potential anti-doping violations," emphasized Ivan Dutchak.
