Fair Play — A Shared Goal: A Meeting for Clean Sport Held at the Olympic House
On November 6, a thematic meeting for representatives of national sports federations in Olympic disciplines was held at the Olympic House. The event was organized by the National Anti-Doping Center in cooperation with the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine and the public organization “ Play True”.
The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen cooperation between key sports institutions in implementing anti-doping programs, raise awareness of the requirements of the World Anti-Doping Code, and discuss effective approaches to fostering a culture of clean sport in Ukraine.
During the meeting, participants discussed the key requirements for the structure of Anti-Doping Programs, their development and approval process, as well as practical tools for effectively integrating anti-doping measures into the daily activities of sports federations.
Vadym Guttsait, President of the NOC of Ukraine, emphasized:
“Clean sport is the foundation of all our victories. We must ensure that Ukrainian athletes grow in a system where honesty, transparency, and trust are the core values. From the NADC to the federations — we are one team working together for the clean future of Ukrainian sport.”
Sergii Popyk, Director of the National Anti-Doping Center, highlighted the importance of a systematic approach:
“An Anti-Doping Program is not a formality — it is an effective mechanism that protects athletes. Our task is to help federations develop high-quality programs that truly work and contribute to the growth of clean sport in Ukraine.”
Oleksii Dniprov, Vice President of the NOC of Ukraine and one of the founders of “ Play True”, noted:
“This initiative is about unity. We must not only fight doping but also create an environment where choosing honesty is natural and self-evident. That’s how we will establish a new standard for Ukrainian sport.”
The meeting gathered federation representatives, coaches, and sports administrators, who received practical recommendations for implementing and maintaining effective anti-doping programs within their organizations.
Such initiatives are more than just platforms for discussion — they represent a shared step toward a future where victory is achieved through effort, not rule-breaking.
Together — for sport without doping!
