The state of anti-doping efforts in Ukrainian football: the NADC’s perspective
On November 12, the team of the National Anti-Doping Center joined a meeting held at the House of Football of the Ukrainian Association of Football (UAF) with the participation of Vadym Guttsait, President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, representatives of the National Platform for Sports Integrity, the All-Ukrainian Association of Professional Footballers, and football clubs from across Ukraine.
Presenting the current state of anti-doping activities in Ukrainian football, NADC Director Serhii Popyk noted significant progress, particularly in the organization and implementation of doping control procedures for football players. He also highlighted promising directions for further cooperation, with priority given to anti-doping education initiatives for clubs of various leagues.
“We have all the necessary bilateral documents and agreements for effective cooperation and joint anti-doping efforts. The main task now is to deepen our existing collaboration and enhance activities both in promoting the values of clean sport and in preventing anti-doping rule violations. I am confident that with the adoption of the UAF Anti-Doping Program, this work will become more systematic and effective,” emphasized S. Popyk.

Without clean sport — there are no football victories!
