On April 9, the National Anti-Doping Center of Ukraine and the All Ukrainian Taekwon-Do Union officially signed a cooperation agreement. This step marks another milestone in strengthening partnerships between anti-doping bodies and sports federations that uphold the values of clean sport.

The agreement provides for the implementation of joint educational initiatives, raising awareness among athletes and coaches about anti-doping rules, ensuring transparency within the federation’s activities, and promoting active involvement in the implementation of national anti-doping programs.

NADC Director Serhii Popyk highlighted the significance of this step: “We are signing not just a document, but an agreement based on trust and responsibility. Taekwon-Do is not only about strength, but also about discipline, respect, and honor. These are the values we aim to uphold through our collaboration. Together, we are creating an environment where athletes can grow on the foundation of integrity and fairness.”

In turn, Valentyn Zorba, President of the All-Ukrainian Taekwon-Do Union, emphasized: “We are grateful to the NADC for its initiative and support. For our federation, it is crucial that athletes and coaches not only win but do so with integrity. Signing this agreement is not just a formality — it’s a real step toward higher standards in sport.”
