On May 9, an Agreement on cooperation in the anti-doping sphere was signed between the National Anti-Doping Center and the State Olympic Educational and Sports Center "Koncha-Zaspa".

Future cooperation will involve a wide range of interactions, including the organization and conduct of educational and informational events, creating proper conditions for the work of doping control officers, and testing athletes who reside and train at the center.

"NADC is interested in partnering with the Olympic Educational and Sports Center "Koncha-Zaspa". This is a leading, flagship sports facility in our country where Ukrainian athletes of the highest level spend their training camps. Olympic champions alongside with other leading Ukrainian athletes prepare here for major sporting events and feature victories. And it is here that perhaps the largest number of out-of-competition doping tests are conducted. That is why we need such support and close cooperation. We are pleased that the leadership of the educational and sports center understands us well and fully supports us. We are grateful for the willingness to work together for the victories of Ukrainian athletes and the integrity of national sports," emphasized Sergii Popyk, Director of the NADC.

The joint efforts of the NADC and the State Olympic Educational and Sports Center "Koncha-Zaspa" will aim to increase awareness of the sports community about anti-doping measures and procedures, promote the ideals of Olympism and clean sport among professional athletes, as well as those athletes who are starting their sporting careers.
